I would love to be there, but I live 1,300 miles away
Just an idea, have you ever thought of doing a web thingamy? Like a group chat, YouTube video of most asked questions, or a group Skype? (I haven’t idea how to half of those, but if it’s possible, I would love to get to “meet” you!) Congrats on the release of Enshadowed (I cannot wait!!) and Happy Birthday!
It’s almost too depressing to acknowledge the fact that I live in New Zealand, which is waaay to far away from Kentucky for me to hitch hike to buy the book…oh well, I still have Amazon. Congratulations on Enshadowed being released!
Okay this is where I draw the line. If you do not come to Alexandria, Louisiana I will kick my boyfriend in the butt. Lol. I WOULD LOVE to go to a signing. I can’t afford to go to Kentucky because I just started college. So PLEASE come to Alexandria, Louisiana. Can wait till Enshadowed. Been waiting a LONG time to read it. Super super super excited!!
Hopefully you can do a signing/appearance here in Orlando, FL or at least in Central Florida.
OH MY GOSH…i just finished the book and i’m left…with a thousand different emotions.
WILL THERE BE A BOOK 3?!?!!??!?!?!?!?!??!
What a heart pounding book! I love every inches of it and I couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to know if Isobel can able to save Varen. But the end of the book was kind of a cliff hanger and left me so much emotions. I want more please, I want to know what happen to both of them. I can’t wait for next one , not until 2013, gosh that sounded so long. I don’t think I can’t wait that long. Both of your books are so wonderful and my heart kept pounding through the whole story. Thank you for writing such amazing books.
Well I must say Enshadowed left me….bewildered for lack of better words. While I know why you ended it the way you did (huge cliff hanger, hello!) it broke my heart reading what Varen did in the end. Ughhh! I simply can’t wait for the next one!! Your mind is complex and beautiful, so I know you’ll hurry the next one for us.
Hello !
I hope you are doing great !
Too bad I’m from Quebec, I wish I had a chance to meet you and talk about you books ! They are very great !
I’ve just bought and finished the reading of Enshadowed !
I had been waiting for it for so long !!
It was very good ! Maybe not enough of Varen for my tastes (Haha!) But I think it was a powerful “in between”, setting everything in place for the last tome to come !!
-Hmm I thought I read somewhere that it was a trilogy ? Do you have any idea how long we will have to wait for the third one ?
One other question.. After Reading Nevermore, I was Amazed to discover the song “Emily Not, Not Gone”, do you plan to do the same with the lullaby from Varen’s mother ? I would LOVE to listen to it !!
Your books are honestly the best I have read in a very long time ! I love the influence of Edgar Allen Poe who was my idol when I was a teenager.
Varen is simply the kind of man of my dreams XD What else could I say ? His character is so dark and deep, alone and tormented… You are very good in creating well developed, interesting, and unusual characters !!
A quality that I hadn’t see in a very long time !!
I LOVE IT.
At first, I have to admit that I thought of Isobel probably has Varen had ! I was sure she was only a dumb blond who can’t use her head and don’t know anything more than cheerleading and mode !!
But she surprised me, and even is she has some difficulties to see what’s right in front of her, she is a strong and capable woman who are ready to do everything to save the one she loves !
We saw her evolving through the first book, and seeing her falling into the darkness in the second book, and trying to deal with it all by herself, made her a very strong character that I enjoyed to see transforming with each new page.
I wish you all the best in your writing career and I’ll stay tuned to your website, waiting desperately for any news concerning Varen, Isobel, and their dark, bloody, romantic, cruel, tormented, and beautiful adventure.
Thank you very much for sharing them with us !!

KELLY!!!!
How could you do that to me! I can’t believe the ending to Enshadowed. I cried so much! I can’t even look at the book without crying. I can’t believe him!! You do have to hurry up with the third book! Do you have any idea when it will come out. Oh and I’m super excited about it. Hopefully the ending to that one will be better because Enshadowed just kills me (lol) and a huge cliff hanger (lol again) okay that’s all I’m saying. It was a awesome book!!! Great job!!!

I loved seeing you today. You made my day I can’t wait to tell all my friends that I met you and got an autograph I’m kinda glad I haven’t read the books yet because then it will take less time for me to get to the third, one. Your amazing!!!!
I LOVE YOU and your books!!!!
I loved Nevermore one of my favorites it has interested me to learn about Edgar Allen Poe, and now I’m doing a book report over Nevermore in school. This should be made into a movie it would be a grammy in my eyes love it!
Oh, I wish I could come!! That would be so cool, too bad I’m all the way in Baltimore!!! You should come to Baltimore for one of your appearances, Kelly!! That would be awesome!I love your books tHough!!! I can’t wait until the third one comes out!!!!!!
Kelly, you MUST come to st. Louis, because I don’t think my teachers would take the excuse of “went to Kentucky to get a book signed…”
Oooh boy I just finished enshadowed and I am going to lose my MIND waiting for the next one! PLEASE TELL ME I WON’T HAVE TO WAIT TOO LONG! My heart is breaking for Isobel and Varen and I must know what happens!
Your writing is so beautiful it’s almost unreal. How you can take an almost stereotypical story of a cheerleader being paired with a goth and make it so complex and so interesting, and with such beautiful and vivid descriptions of everything that it’s practically a movie playing in your head as you read is so amazing! Even the simple stuff is described so wonderfully!
I think that you should do a book tour in Canada and more specifically vancouver, burnaby or victoria because I’d be all over that. These books are 2 of my favourites of all time (and that’s saying something) so getting them signed would be too awesome
thank you so much for writing these books and pleasepleaseplease get the next one to use as soon as possible I’m waiting on the edge of my seat!
XOXOXO
